Huvudpersonerna är syskonen Nils, Stina och Bengt Linderdahl. Vi får följa dem under deras uppväxt och även stifta bekantskap med Karin och Carl Larssons barn, grannarna på Lilla Hyttnäs. Båda familjerna umgicks och särskilt Henrika och Karin som hjälpte varandra och utbytte växter, matrecept och idéer. Familjen Linderdahl älskade djur och man hade alltid en tax. Och den hette alltid Bob.

The main characters are the siblings Nils, Stina and Bengt Linderdahl. We follow them while they are growing up and also meet Karin and Carl Larsson’s children, their neighbours at Lilla Hyttnäs. Both families socialised with each other, particularly Henrika and Karin,who helped each other and swapped plants, recipes och ideas. The Linderdahl family loved animals and always had a dachshund. And it was always called Bob.
